   Site clearance and structural assessment completed

   Engineers have finished surveying the damaged workshop, storage areas and administrative block.

   Debris removal in the covered corridor and the main press hall is complete, and a structural assessment of the remaining walls has been delivered to the diocesan commission. The report confirms that the production hall must be rebuilt from foundation level, while parts of the administrative block can be rehabilitated.

   Reconstruction appeal officially launched

   The Diocese of Kisantu opens its international appeal for the rebuilding of the printing press.

   Following the June 2023 fire that destroyed the Kisantu Diocesan Printing Press, the Diocese has formally launched its appeal to partners, benefactors and institutions of goodwill. The programme covers the full reconstruction of a 2,500 m² facility, new production equipment and the restoration of employment for the households that depend on the press.
